Scout’s Haven and the surrounding 15-acre property celebrate the architecture, nature, and way of life that Northern Indiana is known for. Though rustic in style, the cabin was built with today's modern conveniences – including an EV charger and environmentally friendly geothermal heating – for those who crave countryside charm with luxury.

Inside, the main living area boasts an open layout with a kitchen, dining, and gathering area seamlessly blended into one entertaining space. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and custom stonework, and the dining and seating areas are anchored by a large stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the beautiful property outdoors.

Five bedrooms, one being the main ensuite with private bath and deck, and 2 additional full baths, are lushly styled for luxury and comfort. The family room has a sleeper sofa, offering great accommodation flexibility for any group configuration.

Scout’s Haven is stocked with DVDs, games, ping pong, a croquet set, and volleyball. The downstairs TV is set up with a Wii system, and there are Bluetooth speakers for guest use. Backyard entertainment features a pool, spa, stocked 1-acre fishing pond, fire pit, hammocks, an oversized patio with seating and dining furniture, and a huge barn that guests have access to.

Scout’s Haven is the ideal location for a reunion of friends or family! Located 70 miles from the Chicago loop, we are far enough to truly disconnect, but still close to many wonderful attractions. Notre Dame is only 20 minutes east for football and parent weekends, and the beautiful beach town of Union Pier is 20 miles west. Three Oaks, Michigan, with its art galleries, shopping, and independent movie theater, is a beautiful 6-mile drive north along a winding country road. Hesston Steam Museum, Four Winds Casino, and orchards are nearby. We have bicycles available for use or bring your own to enjoy the rolling countryside and join local bike groups that ride the area. For those who would like to hit the links, there are several golf courses within minutes of the property.
