High-quality bedding and linens, superb décor and lighting, all leading to a guaranteed wonderful night’s sleep for everyone! Similarly, the stylish bathrooms all have superior fixtures and lighting, and provide you and your guests with all the essentials. The Master bathroom comes with twin vanity sinks, a swanky tile walk-in shower and a high-end washer-dryer to handle all your laundry needs. The other bathrooms are also nicely appointed, with one featuring an oh-so-appealing soaking tub. By the way, the Carriage House has a super-comfy king bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, a full bath and chic décor.

Stepping outside, you’ll find a large patio and deck area with plenty of seating and outdoor dining options, all nestled in a professionally landscaped wooded backyard - with a fabulous mix of trees, lawn, sculpted gardens and flat-stone patios and walkways - where peace, tranquility and privacy reign supreme. There’s also an excellent barbecue grill at one end of the patio, for when you’re looking to do some quality backyard cooking. And once dinner is over, you can sit together around the fire-pit and look up at the stars with a glass of wine, knowing your vacation dream has become a reality.

Sawyer, the town in which Cedar Gables is located, is truly a Southwest Michigan hidden gem, and it’s surrounded by some of Mother Nature’s best – including miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, majestic sand dunes and rich woodlands and marshes – with a small-town atmosphere and a unique tapestry of cultural and recreational experiences. So besides taking time to relax and stroll along Lake Michigan’s pristine golden sand beaches, one excellent option is for you and your guests to consider sampling the area’s world-class wine and craft beer scene. Many of the picturesque local vineyards produce superb wines, and it’s common for the neighborhood brew-pubs to bring award-winning excellence and expertise to their bubbly beverages. Or check out the outstanding art galleries, antique shops and boutiques in the super-charming downtown area.

And speaking of exploring, there are outdoor adventures galore in and around Sawyer, including (yes, those amazing beaches and local watersports) nearby state park hiking and biking trails - the most popular being Warren Dunes State Park with 2,000 acres of extraordinary natural beauty and towering sand dunes, plus being a migratory bird destination, it’s a bird-watcher’s paradise. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.
