THE SPACE
The design mantras throughout this superb vacation home are beauty, tranquility, and options galore! With great natural lighting and plenty of spaciousness to go around, you and your guests can recline on comfortable couches in front of the living room fireplace, mingle in the modern, fully equipped kitchen, or have a snack and chat at the breakfast nook. There’s also a spacious room where you can dine, read, or share a glass of wine. If you fancy hanging out in a cozy screened-in porch with a great view, you’ll have easy access to not one, but two of them! On the home’s lower level – a full walk-out basement – there’s a family room with plenty of seating options and a large flat-screen TV. It also has a wet bar area with a sink and fridge, plus a mini-office. When you feel like working out or doing some yoga, you can exercise or stretch to your heart’s content in the heated workout room/yoga studio. Each bedroom is a perfect combination of comfort and style – we use only high-quality bedding and linens to ensure a good night’s sleep. All the furnishings and décor are hand-selected for aesthetic appeal and practical use. Each bedroom also has plenty of clothing storage for you and your guests.

All of the 3.5 bathrooms are chic with elegant metro styling. All have stone-top vanities and high-end fixtures. The master bath features dual vanities and a walk-in shower. There’s also a nice half-bath in the workout room/yoga studio. Plus, there’s a high-quality washer and dryer in the laundry room, and a mudroom with extra closet space.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES
The Green Light’s outdoor amenities are many – starting with a fabulous pool and hot tub, spacious deck with ample chaise lounges, comfy chairs, and a patio dining set. Along the side of the house is another deck with a nice outdoor dining set for when you’d like to dine al fresco. There’s also an excellent firepit with Adirondack chairs, where you and your guests can gather together and watch the stars in style. Plus, this property has a nice lawn area for kids to play on.

Besides being just 800 yards from Harbert Road Beach, a quiet, beautiful neighborhood beach on the Lake Michigan shoreline, the lovely nearby village of Harbert is worthy of your check-out. It’s got colorful, unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and a fantastic bakery! Also, due to your proximity to nearby New Buffalo, you can enjoy many water-related activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor – plenty of rentals are available, including boats, kayaks, canoes, jet-skis, and paddleboards. There are also day and evening cruises or fishing excursions to consider. And you’ll also be super-close to all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore – including Warren Dunes State Park, which has towering dunes, miles of crystal-sand beaches, and rich wetland trails – or the many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo (just a hop, skip, and a jump from Harbert).

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

For guests who would like to bring pets, we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome up to 2 dogs here. All pets must be authorized at the time of booking – email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring a pet.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
