Recently renovated, these 2 superbly located, side-by-side units are a short walk to beaches, feature open design, stylish-cozy furnishings and fab new kitchens. Two nicely appointed, lush + comfy bedrooms in each, and both BRs have a flat-screen TV for movie watching in bed. The sleek bathrooms have a deluxe vanity + tiled walk-in shower. The shared, fenced backyard has a firepit + grill. You'll be near state parks, restaurants and amenities galore!

The Space
Stepping into either The Bella or The Calista – they’re virtually identical - you’ll immediately appreciate the vaulted ceilings and spacious open design, which together create an inviting atmosphere for all. The living room’s mantra is comfy-cozy and is a popular place for guests to chill out with a favorite drink, watch a movie or show on the flat-screen TV, or just relax and mingle after a day at the beach or exploring the local sights and bites.

And speaking of bites, each unit has a newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen featuring high-end appliances and deluxe fixtures, plus all the essential pots, pans, utensils and small appliances you might need to make delicious vacay meals. There’s also a primo coffeemaker and primo coffee for enjoying a primo morning cup of joe! And actually, the kitchen’s way-cool central island and adjacent breakfast nook are commonly known as the places to be for a morning, afternoon or evening gathering spot.

Both bedrooms in The Bella and in The Calista feature top-quality bedding and linens – for a comfy, sound sleep – as well as wonderful natural light, from the large multiple windows. Each also has a flat-screen TV for viewing your favorite movies and TV shows in the comfort and privacy of your own bed.

The metro-style bathroom in each unit – that is, both The Bella and The Calista each have one bathroom - is highlighted by a tiled walk-in shower with a soothing Rain-Shower head, plus a deluxe stone-top vanity. And we supply you with all your bathroom essentials. Also, there’s a stackable washer-dryer combo in the kitchen for all your laundering needs.

The fenced backyard offers you and your guests access to a shared nice-size lawn and both a firepit to gather ‘round and a grill for barbecuing.

Please note: Both The Bella and The Calista are superbly located for beach-lovers, and they’re ideal for families or groups who’d like to rent two stand-alone units together – but we’re often asked, “Is it possible to rent just one of the properties?” Yes, you can rent either property separately. Please understand, if you rent one of the homes, you may be sharing outdoor space with another family, if they’ve booked time at the other property.

In addition to being just an easy walk from a majestic, crystal-sand Lake Michigan beach – and a super-short drive to popular beaches like Pier Street Beach and Cherry Beach – you and your guests can also partake of the many activities afforded by being quite near Warren Woods State Park, offering all sorts of woodland hiking and biking trails galore, or the region’s largest recreational harbor, providing you with countless water-related excursions and rentals, from fishing trips to boat, kayak, jet-ski and paddleboard rentals to day and evening cruises. There’s also the Acorn Theater, a local treasure for live performances of nationally recognized music artists, and a number of nearby breweries, wineries, brew pubs and even an award-winning distillery for y’all to check out. Of course, you and your guests can also enjoy sampling to your hearts’ content the many popular restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boutiques and antique shops just a hop, skip and a jump away in Union Pier and downtown New Buffalo.

To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to participate in a guest prescreening. All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent these homes home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome dogs here. All pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring a pet.

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
