W loved the views from the house, the cozy sunroom, and had everything we needed! Hot tub, gas"Wood" stove and outdoor fire pit with wood provided were just perfect our mid-November visit. Would definitely stay here again!

I can not say enough good things about Juniper Holiday + Home vacation rentals! My husband and I rented a VRBO for our 14 year wedding anniversary getaway, we packed ourselves and our dog for a week long trip. Two hours into our four hour drive the management company of our rented VRBO called (from somewhere in Seattle, WA) to I form us that our VRBO was no longer available. Devastated, in shock and still in route to our no longer available destination we did not know what to do. At this point we were closer to the other side of the state than home. Luckily I came across a picture of the Juniper Holiday + Home sign on VRBO. I Googled them and was able to call and speak with someone (that in itself was a relief). I am so grateful to the representative that I spoke with as she was kind and understanding and worked diligently to find us a place to stay as we continued to drive towards the unknown. Needless to say she found us a beautiful home on the lake in New Buffalo MI, with a hot tub and amazing views! The city was quaint and charming. Lots of very tasty restaurants. Shopping just minutes away by car. The location of the home was perfect. The home itself was amazing, everything we needed and then some! I will never forget the peace the serenity and the sound of the waves from lake michigan that we were lucky enough to experience daily. My husband and I (and our dog Vinny) had a truly wonderful anniversary trip. We are forever grateful to Juniper Holiday + Home for being there when we needed them. And the representative that helped us that day for saving our anniversary trip. We can not wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful location. The hot tub on the patio was an absolute dream and we enjoyed our coffee in the morning overlooking the lake. You could come here and not even bother leaving the property for your entire stay. An amazing fall, winter and spring Lake Michigan vacation option that I already can’t wait to return to!
The space was perfect for our group of 6- everyone had plenty of privacy and room, and the layout is very functional.
The hosts were also kind, accommodating and quick to respond!

Our stay at this property was fantastic! We've stayed in other vacation rentals in this area several times & this was, by far, our favorite. I booked Juniper's place in New Buffalo for our first ever girls trip. We all looked at the pictures and agreed on the location. We were so happy with our choice. Everyone loved the house. The view is amazing, loved the fireplace at night, the beds were all comfy & the hot tub over looking the lake was perfect for watching the sun rise & set. We stayed for 4 nights & they went by fast. We went boutiquing, antiquing, beer drinking, of course, winery hopping, & stopped at Swayer Garden Center as well. Oh, also drove up to Bit of Swiss which had fantastic pastries & breads. Our host texted us back within minutes when we had a few questions. I highly recommend the Juniper house. Our entire trip was a WIN.

We stayed at Wild Horse Run for a quick weekend getaway. We had originally booked a house on the beach, but a cracked furnace meant we had to switch houses. Liz was quick to get a hold of me and gave me several houses to chose from and was very apologetic over something that was not her fault. The house was lovely and perfectly laid out for what we needed. The hot tub was lovely and the warmers on the back screened in porches were magnificent for coffee on the porch watching the wildlife. We were closely situated to downtown New Buffalo. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We booked this specifically because of the hottub and it was amazing! There are huge windows that lookout onto the water and the sound of the waves were very relaxing while reading on the deck or in the hottub. The kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of extra blankets. The two bathrooms were nice for rinsing off after the hottub or taking a shower and still having one available for everyone. It is a nice area or walking around and you can see the sunset from the hottub through the trees. 10/10 would highly recommend and would definitely stay again! There is also extra public parking close because there is no street parking and it is RIGHT by the train station which was perfect for some out of town friends coming in from Chicago!

Such a great location! We loved the hot tub and the view was spectacular. As others have mentioned, the house could use some maintenance and updates. Pillows and beds are not super comfortable, so I would recommend bringing your own pillow if that’s an issue for you. Nothing unsafe in terms of maintenance though and it was very clean. Juniper was very easy to communicate with!

The Elite Ladies had a wonderful time. The ocean water front home was simply breathtaking. The home it self needs some upgrades. But it was decent. They did have all the creature comforts that you would need to have a enjoyable stay. We would recommend and stay again.

When my wife said “this is exactly what I wanted to have” as we walked in, it was a great relief. The house looks over Lake Michigan beautifully and one can’t help but enjoy the space. The home itself is a nice and simple gem. Everything works ( save a few window cranks in the sun room) and the sound of the water all day is so relaxing. Easy access to town and good restaurants and coffee spots…and Oinks! If you are looking for lavish, you may look elsewhere. If you are looking for supremely satisfying quiet time with your loved one(s), this fits the bill.

We loved our rental house! It was very well decorated and maintained - exactly as pictured. Juniper was incredibly helpful and easy to deal with - very responsive over texts. Plan to rent from this company again!

Overall very satisfied. The house is pretty dated, but still charming and comfortable. The hot tub was easy to figure out and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, plenty of glassware and eating utensils. Our favorite area was the sun room as it is wall to wall windows and has an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. Great place to read as well. We couldn't figure out how to open the windows though, as they all seemed stuck. It would have been great to have at least one large screen TV. The two in the house are barely bigger than a large monitor. You also have to have some knowledge of changing inputs in the TV settings if you want to switch from streaming to cable TV. The WiFi was very strong throughout the house. We plan to return next year

What an incredible location and view! The house is a bit "dated," but that did not affect our vacation. We enjoyed the deck, grill, and hot tub. Communication with the Property Manager was excellent; they always responded quickly. We are already contemplating our return for more birthday celebrations!

The Michigan Getaway was more beautiful than the photos. We really enjoyed the outdoors and relaxing in the jacuzzi at night looking at the stars. The inside was cleaned and equipped with everything you needed. This was a very nice and relaxing home!

The view of the lake is absolutely incredible and the sunsets were spectacular. The neighborhood is quiet but close enough to plenty of restaurants and shops. The house was clean and it was an added bonus that we could bring our dog. We had a great family weekend and would love to come back!

Great view of Lake Michigan!! I gave a rating of 3 stars for check in because the front door was locked and we had to wait 45 minutes to get in (not sure whose mistake it was locking front door when there was a sign saying dO NOt lock front door). Also, the master bedroom bed was terrible! The twin beds not much better. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, nice glassware selection. TV’s all worked, the fireplace was so nice to have on a cold night!!

We enjoyed getting away and being on Lake Michigan-it's such a pretty view! The lake was frozen slightly wen we arrived and thawed in a few days so we got to experience seeing that and a Bald Eagle flew right through the back yard. Very relaxing, we will be back!

This is a great place to "get away" to relax, soak up incredible views of Lake Michigan and enjoy memorable sunsets on the large deck. We love the open floor plan providing a feeling of spaciousness to appreciate the lake view from most rooms. Nice kitchen with island and enough utensils to leave everything at home. It's an older home with outdated bathrooms but who cares? You're not buying the house, just enjoying it for a short period of time. Quiet neighborhood but close to cute town of New Buffalo's shops, restaurant and public beach. We have rented this home for two years now and will return again next year. I miss it already!

Great location - right on the waters of Lake Michigan. The house was clean and well stocked with linen, kitchen utensils and cookware, and even some beach items in the garage. The mattress is foam and too soft. The air conditioner struggles to keep the house cool, so use the shades when the sun starts setting. We want to return for a longer time!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean home right on Lake Michigan! The town was just a 20 minute walk away as was the public beach. This home is situated right on Lake Michigan in a quiet neighborhood. Accommodations were perfect for 5 friends spending a few days together. The lake views from the deck and interior great room were wonderful! This home was clean, comfortable and is a short walk to town and beautiful beaches. We will definitely return!

Our group of six adults relaxed and then relaxed some more. The layout of the house is such that everyone could find the perfect resting location. My husband on his computer, sport junkies watching TV and all of us watching the lake from the back deck. The kitchen layout makes it easy to prepare meals and serve food on the table next to the kitchen. PLUS this is the best stocked kitchen I have ever enjoyed in a rental; plenty of dishes and glasses and an array of flatware and utensils. We were disappointed that the lake continues to be high thus requiring the shoreline to be protected with huge stones making water entry in front of the house unavailable. We had a great sunset with the sun going down behind the tiny shapes that were the skyscrapers of Chicago...unexpected and delightful.

The lake view of the property is AMAZING! Home is comfortable and had everything we needed. Beach area at the house is gone with lake levels so traveled to the city beach for a nice morning. We enjoyed wineries, breweries, shopping, and relaxing. If you like walks or hiking, the marsh and canopy trails at Galion River Park was nice and not real strenuous.

This is a great house for what you consider a beach house - Not too fancy where you cringe when one of this kids bumps into furniture with a toy yet is nicely furnished with excellent lake views. The fact it's a ranch worked well for us. The pictures online are actually very representative of the size of rooms. Pretty spacious with room to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet with a small sandy beach at the end of the block which was perfect for the little one. I must give kudos to Heather, the property manager who helped work with the property owner assisting us when a major storm knocked out power for two days. Totally out of their control but they were responsive and very fair throughout the ordeal. That gave us confidence in vrbo and all involved. Overall it's a great place to relax, kick back and enjoy being right on the lake. We'll be back next year!

The sunsets were spectacular. The view is spectacular. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are a bit small but serviceable. We all had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this property.

Extremely nice home with a wonderful deck and sun room overlooking the lake. Clean with everything we needed to cook and grill and have coffee in the mornings. Having two bathrooms made it easy for five adults to share with no one having to wait. Everything is on one level with just a small two inch step to sun room and deck, made it easy for grandparents and my son in a wheelchair. We all loved it and would book it again in the future. View is incredible. Place is basic but very nice. Front yard is great for older kids ... but slopes off towards a 8 foot drop so young kids might be a challenge

Our stay was fantastic. Weather super chilly BUT still got out to the town (easy 20 min walk), Galien State Park...(easy 5 min drive). Shops were darling. Cottage was lovely...view is EXCEPTIONAL!! Cottage clean, spacious, perfectly located ON the lake and minutes from everything else! We will absolutely go back but in warmer weather!!

The house was a perfect layout. Kitchen well supplied. View from deck beautiful. Some house attention needed ie lock kitchen door to deck not working. Some lightbulbs need replacing around house. Step up to back den needs a light or demarcation. But overall the view and accessibility and residential street House is on made it a great getaway. Thank you. We plan to be back.

The home was user friendly...great kitchen set-up. There were plenty of towels and essentials. The view of Lake Michigan is fabulous. The home itself could use some updating, but it was comfortable...we loved the sun room...great for cozy conversations and card playing. I definitely would recommend it for a small group or family.

I can’t tell you how lucky we were that this property was available on such short notice. The location of this house can’t be beat. We had our bikes and it was a quick ride to all the restaurants and public beach. There is no lake access at the house but it does have a small association beach 2 blocks away for swimming. The house was clean, had new wood floors and new furniture. For a couples or girls trip this house really can’t be beat. It just doesn’t get better than sitting on that back deck having a glass of wine looking at the amazing view of the lake. I can’t wait to go back!

The house was very clean and had everything you would need. Even though with the Covid we were still able to enjoy ourselves. Carry out and eating at restaurants with outside seating was the trick. We had a slight problem with an electrical situation but Heather was very responsive. Would definitely return.

The entire experience was actually pretty awesome. We had some bumps with COVID-19 but Heather was really great to work with. The house is beautiful. New floors!! Beds were all comfortable. There was everything that we needed there especially since going out was kind of limited. I look forward to the day that the lake may recede and it is beach accessible again. Love love

My sisters and I had a great long weekend in New Buffalo. This house was perfect...clean, spacious, well equipped and the views from the living room and/or deck we're amazing. We were close enough to town to enjoy the fall fest, lunch, drinks and shopping, but spent most of our time hanging out, cooking, playing games, etc. Just a fun, relaxing weekend. Thank you again!!

The property is very much as pictured. The house is very nice. Things were there that you needed to enjoy your stay. We have stayed in several places in the area, this is one of the best. We hope to go back next year. A new mattress would be wonderful for the master bedroom.

There was an easy check in process with a binder full of great info to greet us, answering all questions about beach access, the neighborhood, check out process, etc. The home is exactly as listed, and the views are even more breathtaking in person. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils for cooking, very clean and easy to use. The small neighborhood beach was an easy walk, very rocky, but still pleasant to use. The only negative was a lot of bugs once it gets dark, but that can't be helped, just pack lots of bug spray and citronella if you'd like to sip cocktails outside or start a bonfire. Any questions we had were answered quickly and politely. We loved the space, and will probably stay here again next summer :)

Spent most of out time out on the back deck. Perched above Lake Michigan, you can't get a better view. The back deck is wonderful. Loved the enclosed porch too as it too offered great lake views. When weather was bad, used that room a lot. Had a wonderful time and would return in the future.
