Vaulted ceilings and rustic exposed beams lend a dramatic aspect to the main living area, while accents of rattan, rope, natural fiber, whitewash, and shiplap contribute to the home's Lake Michigan vacation themes. Perhaps the greatest features of the home are its two wood-burning free-standing fireplaces, one in the front family room and the other in the main suite.
The Leo Cottage kitchen has been updated to include many modern amenities while still retaining a vintage lake house feel, with newly installed kitchen cabinets, appliances, lighting, and faucets. The well-equipped kitchen includes an oversized center prep island with bar stools for entertaining, plus a breakfast area with booth seating.
